Open Access is a publishing model that provides immediate, subscription free access to the full text of published articles. Moreover, authors who publish in Open Access journals retain the copyright of their article. All articles published are made freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication. To ensure digital preservation for the future, our electronic publications will be archived with Portico, as for all publications of
European Publishing.
Public Health and Toxicology is an open-access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.

The journal provides download statistics for each article published. These can be seen from the "stats" download tab next to each article. These refer to direct downloads from the journal website and does not indicate accesses from other websites or databases.
